Leviticus 20:10 KJV) And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
1-Adultery is out of the heart.
(Matthew 15:19) For from your heart come the evil ideas which lead you to kill, commit adultery, and do other immoral things; to rob, lie, and slander others.
2-No adulterers enter the Kingdom of God.
(1 Corinthians 6:9-10) Surely you know that the wicked will not possess God's Kingdom. Do not fool yourselves; people who are immoral or who worship idols or are adulterers or homosexual perverts or who steal or are greedy or are drunkards or who slander others or are thieves---none of these will possess God's Kingdom.
3-God will judge the adulterer.
(Hebrews 13:4) Marriage is to be honored by all, and husbands and wives must be faithful to each other. God will judge those who are immoral and those who commit adultery.
4-Adultery can be avoided.
(Proverbs 4:23) Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.
5-Shun adultery.
(Proverbs 6:32) Whoever commits adultery with a woman has no sense. Whoever does this destroys himself.
6-God forgives the sin of adultery and frees the sinner from it.
(1 Corinthians 6:11) Some of you used to be like that. (adulterers, etc.) But now the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and the power of God's Spirit have washed you and made you holy and acceptable to God.
7-Looking on a woman lustfully is adultery; spiritual surgery is needed.
(Matthew 5:27-30) "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' But I say to you that every one who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and throw it away; it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell.
And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away; it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.
8-Beware of seductive women.
(Proverbs 23:27-28) For a harlot is a deep pit; an adventuress is a narrow well. She lies in wait like a robber and increases the faithless among men.
9-Keep the seventh commandments.
(Exodus 20:14) "You shall not commit adultery.
